Best Buy Reward Zone is a Good Deal

If you feel you are enrolled in enough customer loyalty programs and are contemplating joining the Best Buy Reward Zone program; think no more and sign up. The membership used to be $9.99 per year but it’s free now and the rewards do accumulate especially if you buy a few big ticket items now and then.

When you’re planning to buy a Plasma TV anyways, why not enroll in a free program that will give you enough points to buy other stuff as well? Reward Zone members also get exclusive savings coupons in the mail so that you can pay 10-12% less than the person without a Rewards Zone card.

You could also apply for a Rewards Zone credit card that lets you earn points on non-Best Buy purchases as well; a good idea if you’re seriously into electronics and religiously make a weekly trip to the store.

What’s in it for them? Well, they make you more loyal to their store and that’s not such a bad thing for you either. Once you frequent a store often, you spend time more efficiently as you are familiar with the layout. You can still comparison shop online or in the Sunday paper as Best Buy matches all competitor’s advertised prices - so it’s a win-win situation. Get a good price and get rewarded at the same time.

It’s nice to see some critique on the reward systems out there. You are correct, there are so many and a consumer gets inundated with all the invitations to sign up. In most cases, they only disappoint the consumer with a poor reward system. However, sounds like you found a winner with Best Buy. Thanks for sharing, I will have to check it out.
