Eating To Be Beautiful
Eating foods rich in certain vitamins and minerals can dramatically improve your skin, hair, nails and teeth. And while there’s no cure all for aging there are certain steps a person can take to ensure they age better than most.
Foods rich in vitamin A can help regenerate skin cells and prevent signs of premature aging. Vitamin A is the same vitamin used in Retin A to help fight wrinkles and rejuvenate skin. Vitamin A also promotes healthy hair and a healthy immune system. Foods like: carrots, sweet potatoes, and tomatoes are all rich in vitamin A.
Consuming citrus fruits and other foods rich in Vitamin C help promote elasticity and collagen production in your skin as well as boost your immune system. Foods especially rich in Vitamin C are: citrus fruits, broccoli, kiwi, strawberries, honeydew, cantaloupe, brussel sprouts and green peppers.
Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, B9 and B12 will all help boost your metabolism and revitalize skin cells. Vitamin B can be found in a variety of foods including: red meat, egg yolks, leafy greens, corn, brown rice, berries, yeast, and whole grain cereals and bread.
Eating healthy really will leave you looking more beautiful for it.

Very helpful. Not that I’m too worried about wrinkles but this is still very interesting.

It really is beneficial to understand we truly are what we eat. With all the vitamins and nutrients required to just maintain health, a person really has to search out understand what foods are best for us. With that being said, I enjoyed your article because it brought the topic into perspective.

Well said! Now if we could just get rid of all the fast food joints that plague our great nation. Okay….that’s not going to happen. When it comes dow to it, it’s simply an individual choice and responibility to eat right.

If that’s not reason to get healthy, nothing is. We may find it hard to eat well for our own good, but vanity is a powerful motivator ;-). It’s great to see what each food is rich in - great article.
