Indianapolis to Chicago Travel Options
With gas prices and tolls on the rise, the relatively short trip from Indianapolis to Chicago is becoming more and more expensive. If you are making the trip alone, the costs round trip can be well over $60. One alternative to this dilemma is taking the train. Amtrak has daily service from Indianapolis to Chicago.
Yes, Amtrak does have some issues. There can be lengthy delays caused by freight traffic. They have a horrible tendency to leave their customers in the dark about details. In Indianapolis, you cannot check luggage. Everything you bring is carry on, and it has to meet their carry on standards. However, it can save you half of your travelling costs if you plan far enough ahead.

i live in west lafayette,IN,about 2 hrs drive from chicago.it is a hassle to travel from here to chicago if u don’t have a car(like myself..) there is a express limo that travels from west lafayette,in to o’hare airport.
