Kids Around Swimming Pool
It is summer time. It is the time for fun, activity and vacation. It is also the time that we are extra careful with kids around backyard water body. Yes, it is time we made sure our swimming pools are safe for children.
Almost every week there is a news item in the media about a toddler or a young child getting drowned, critically injured and sometimes even dipping to die!
Most young children just love water; they do not have the concept of danger. And, in most children’s mind nothing is impossible – they can climb up the sky to pluck stars, they can leap across the ocean to rescue a princess – so why not take a dip in the swimming pool when grown ups are inside the house! It can be quite a challenge to understand why kids do some things! Therefore on our part it is always advisable to think ahead and make our environment safer for our children.
