Kiss Rocker a Surprise Art Hit

He’s more famous for painting his face than canvases, but KISS rocker Paul Stanley is currently enjoying success as an artist.

Stanley’s portraits and landscapes have attracted interest from music fans and art buffs alike, and he’s thrilled to finally be able to show them off.

“It’s been incredible,” he told Undercover News. “The response and the amount of people who have been acquiring the art has been insane.”

Stanley began painting six years ago to ease the pain of his divorce. He will show his works at 12 galleries around America this year.

“Obviously to a degree, people come because it is me, but nobody spends hard-earned money if they don’t love something.”

Paul Stanley’s art exhibition is currently touring America.

Cool… better than painting his face. That facepaint was super lame.

Wow — whoda thunk it? To see this rocker’s art displayed must be a thrill for him. We all associate him with KISS, and will forever associate him with the group, but it’s nice to see him come out to display another talent, another side of him we may have not known before.
