Movie Madness
How do films truly affect the viewers? This is a topic that was brought to my attention recently, and I certainly think it deserves some thought. Take a moment to ponder all of things we see in movies. Some of them are terribly graphic, and even though they’re fiction, do they still have a negative impact on some spectators? Primarily our youth? This is a topic that has lingered for some time now. However, no compromises ever seem to be made. Hollywood is going to put out whatever sells! Is this okay? Or, do certain movies desensitize our society and lead them to think cruel and vicious acts are acceptable?

You are right — Hollywood is going to put out what sells. However, with that being said, I agree that movies are depicted in a very graphic mannerism, and I believe this can have negative effects on our youth. If Hollywood is going to contiue proceeding, maybe we need stronger monitoring requirements?
