Mungiki strike in Kenya
This week in Kenya has seen a crackdown on the elusive Mungiki sect. Following the beheading of two Kenyan police offices, the Kenyan President began a series of raids against the anti-Western religious group.
Now I’m all for preserving your indigenous culture, but these Mungiki’s aren’t a bunch of tree hugging wimpos practicing outlawed tribal dances to scare away environmentally caustic foreign investors ala the Ghost Dance.
These ruffians are dreadlocked executioners who practice female circumcision. For those unfamiliar with this heinous act, female circumcision is a procedure which removes a women’s labia, turning sex into a pleasureless reproductive act ensuring fidelity to her husband.
I hope all you cultural relativists out there have your thinking caps on because I’d love to hear your defense for this brutally misogynistic act, let alone its Kenyan proponents.
