Political Attacks Heating Up in California
The state of California is an important state in terms of political elections because of the weight of its 55 electoral votes. Even as early as April the battle for California has begun and the Democrats are throwing the first punches.
On Saturday April 28, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton decided to bring their wisdom and political aspirations to California to denounce the current administration and salute their own political agendas. The Democratic candidates had no problem coming up with negative remarks against the administration. Clinton said that the Bush administration is “one of the darkest blots on leadership we’ve ever had”, while Obama stated that, “the president may occupy the White House, but for the last six years the position of leader of the free world has remained open.” The campaigning has just begun and it’s already negative. The Democrats no problems blaming past Republican leaders and elevating their own agenda, however it is unclear what their agenda really entails. It may be easy to throw insults but true campaigning should consist of a sharing of ideas and building on the successes and failures of the past instead of destroying and insulting all of the foundations and precedents.

Oh come on. Republicans do the exact same thing. Remember Swift Boat Captains for Truth?
