Removing Dark Under Eye Circles

Dark under eye circles can be caused by a variety of factors, including: age, poor circulation, fatigue and fluid retention. But no matter the cause there are a variety of ways to minimize and reduce the tired appearance they produce.

Currently, there are several different products on the market aimed at reducing dark under eye circles. The Vita-K Solution for dark circles under Eyes, is available through amazon.com or Ulta cosmetics and cost approximately $10. It uses a Vitamin K solution to reduce the appearance of dark circles and minimizes the appearance of blotchy pigmentation under the eyes.

Another product worth investigating is Ultima II Glowtion Brighten Up, Tighten Up, this product is only available through Ulta Cosmetics and costs about $20. The goal of this product is to rejuvenate the skin under the eyes by using a combination of Hyaluronic Acid and chamomile to refresh and soothe red skin tones.

Another way to minimize the appearance of dark circles temporarily is to use a light tinted concealer under the eyes. A green tinted concealer is better at hiding under eye redness and a yellow concealer is useful in hiding dark circles. Also a good thing to keep in mind when selecting a concealer is to stay away from oil based products as they highlight and enhance fine lines under your eyes which will only make the dark circles more visible.

I enjoyed reading your article! It was informative, and with so many products on the market, it truly is hard to know which one is more beneficial and will work. You gave thorough information to help the general population make a decision on which product would be best for them. I enjoyed reading about the herbal cures as well.

Good article! I must show it to my wife. She’s always concerned with this.

This is such great advice. It just goes to show that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to solve those beauty hassles either. The inclusion of some more general tips rather than specific products was really useful to me, as they don’t sell those products in Australia.

The second reference article had a lot of really interesting information about how diet can affect dark under eyes. I was unaware that sugar and caffeine had that affect!
