Search for a Good Cause
If you use Google, Yahoo! or any other search engine several times a day, consider switching to Goodsearch.com. It’s a new website/search engine that is powered by Yahoo! The thing that sets it apart from its competition is that for every search you conduct, 1 cent goes to the charity of your choice.
It costs you nothing, but you end up helping a good cause with something that you would do anyways. So, whether you’re searching for the latest on Angelina Jolie, the Virginia Tech tragedy or casualties in Iraq, consider going the Goodsearch route.
You can choose from a list of charities or nominate one of your own. The results are quick, good - and make you feel slightly better for wasting time worrying about whether Katie Holmes is happily married or not.

What an excellent idea! I have not heard of this search engine, but will definitely check it out. It’s nice to know there are good sites out there, willing to give back for a good cause. Thanks for the info.

What an excellent idea. I hadn’t heard of this, but I’ll definitely add it to my favourites now! How wonderful that we can choose the charities we’d like to help too. Thanks for the tip!
