Technology and Collaboration

Technology is a part of our everyday life today. As teacher’s, it is important we incorporate technology into our classrooms, and one great way to accomplish this task is through a computer in the classroom. There are many great interactive sites, where we can log the students into and they can interact with the technology in a “live forum” if you will. I think as teachers, we are always looking for new ways to incorporate technology into the classroom that we forget one important element of the classroom – the teacher. There are many ways we can reach out, as educator’s, to help one another by sharing effective teaching strategies, or classroom strategies, or even just to support one another. I think all teachers’ need to be encouraged, and we oftentimes do not get the encouragement we need, therefore, if we have somewhere to turn, we can find it ourselves. The classroom is nothing without the teacher, so it is imperative to keep us going, so we can move the class forward. With that being said, start with your computer and search for information you need to make you stronger, and find the resources readily available to us all on the Internet.
