“Vacancy” Delivers!
You’ve got to love a good horror movie! Sitting on the edge of your seat; praying for the innocent protagonist to find his/her way through a maze of terror and dread. Fortunately the recent flick “Vacancy” delivers. This film gives new meaning to the phrase “seedy motel room.” In fact, once you check in, don’t plan on getting any rest.
“Vacancy” keeps you nibbling at your nails from start to finish. You have a typical couple afflicted with a broken marriage. As they encounter car trouble on a dark lonely highway, they’re forced to take shelter in a secluded motel till morning. The only problem is they soon find themselves dealing with much more than marital issues. In no time, they’re teaming up to stay alive and avoid becoming the next subjects of a snuff film.
There’s nothing like a life or death situation to put relationship troubles into perspective. “Vacancy” will not only do this, but it will no doubt make you question the next motel room you choose. Not to mention the cleanliness of the linens.

Sounds like a “Psycho” rip-off. Too many horror movies take place a motels.

Another horror movie, eh? Well, again — I know there is a demand for it, but enough already! I would like to see Hollywood focus their direction on another genre’. . .I know, my wish and apparantly I stand alone. However, I agree with Josh — what’s up with all these horror movies taking place in motels? Hmm, sure doesn’t do much for the travel industry
